Pre-BUT self-training

Personal projects and self-directed learning

Built a first serious technical base through long solo projects, especially Stellarium, before entering formal software training.

  • Sustained a 15-month Unreal Engine project alone.
  • Learned by building gameplay systems, world content, trailers, and documentation.
  • Discovered the real cost of weak structure as the project grew.

BUT Informatique

IUT / University training

Formal software engineering training that turned self-taught execution into stronger architecture, backend, data, and delivery habits.

  • Built foundations in algorithms, databases, web development, and software architecture.
  • Worked on team projects with clearer roles, constraints, and delivery expectations.
  • Moved from exploratory coding toward maintainable systems and typed contracts.
